This page contains the basic information for a member including the address and telephone numbers of a member’s primary location.
The Member “Detail View”: “Basic Info 1” page is accessed by opening the Members folder in the “Module Explorer,” selecting the Members module and selecting the “Basic Info 1” page in the “Detail View.”

The name, if any, of the member business or organization. If filled in, it should not contain an individual’s name; the names of individuals associated with the Member “Detail View” are recorded and stored in Reps module.
A Member “Detail View” is filed alphabetically by the contents of the “Company” text box unless the “File by” text box is filled in. If the “File by” text box is filled in, the Member “Detail View” is filed alphabetically by its contents rather than by the contents of the “Company” text box.

The physical address of a company should be entered in this text box.
The P.O. Box or second line of a physical address should be entered in this text box.
NOTE: Blank address lines are suppressed when an address is printed on mailing labels. If you are using Members Online and you upload your current data, the online directory will only use the address in Line #1 for use with the Map Link feature.
NOTE: In the case of multiple address lines where the delivery address may be ambiguous – for example, a street address and a post office box – the U.S. Postal Service delivers mail to the last two lines of the address (the last line typically being the city, state, and zip code).
The city, state and Zip code.
The Delivery Point Barcode is a two-digit code that, if entered, supplements the Zip+4 digit code.
The Carrier Route is a code that, if entered, supplements the Zip+4 digit code.
A scrollable text box where information may be stored about a member. Use the Contacts module to document communications with a member.
The member status code. If the desired status is not available from the pull down list, see “Adding/Editing Member Statuses.”
