CC-Assist provides a way for you to insert a custom message in the automated registration confirmation emails received by online event registrants. This allows you to provide additional information about the event that you don’t want made public on your calendar, such as links and instructions to join online webinars.

To add a custom message to the automated registration confirmation email for an event, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Events module and select the record of the event for which you would like to insert a custom registration confirmation message
  2. Open the Basic Info 2 tab in the event Detail View.
  3. Insert your custom message in the Notes field and enclose it with the text tags <EregMsg></EregMsg>, as shown below.

    Any URLs that begin with “http://” or “https://” will automatically be hyperlinked in the registration confirmation email as long as they have spaces surrounding them or are positioned at the start of a sentence.
